It’s the One that You Want!

It’s 1959, and Rydell High’s senior class is in rare form. The too-cool-for-school “T-Birds” are acting tough and their gum-snapping, chain-smoking “Pink Ladies” are looking hot in bobby sox. At the heart of the story is the romance between greaser Danny and innocent Sandy who had a secret summer romance, but now peer-pressure and cliques make their love a bit more complicated. Enjoy favorite songs like "Summer Nights," "Greased Lightnin'", "We Go Together", and "You're the One That I Want" while watching Danny try to keep his “cool” and still get the girl. Annie Get Your Gun

A Rousing, Sure-Fire Comedy.

Annie Oakley, the best shot around, manages to support her family by selling the game she hunts. When she's discovered by Buffalo Bill, he persuades this novel sharpshooter to join his Wild West Show. It only takes one glance for her to fall head over heels for dashing shooting ace Frank Butler, who headlines the show. She soon eclipses Butler as the main attraction which, while good for business, is bad for romance. The rousing, sure-fire finale really hits the mark in a testament to the power of female ingenuity. STORM - A Maritime Concert

Storm is one-part history lesson and one-part rock concert recounting the famous shipwrecks of the Great Lakes. The show fuses actual eyewitness interviews, spellbinding underwater video, and contemporary music that creates a unforgettable history lesson. Storm remembers the terrifying gales, and the survivals of sailors who were caught in the tempest. Over 300 years of exploration and navigation are unveiled to the audience, from French fur trading ships to modern cement boats that currently ply the lakes.

Ric Mixter hosts Storm, transporting the audience back to the age of sail and steam. Dan Hall provides the melody, with lyrics derived from historical accounts of survivors. Dan’s songs are as powerful as the massive modern freighters he heralds in “Thousand Foot Keel”, and his amazing voice provides requiem for those lost to the lakes.

Ric Mixter has been featured on the History and Discovery channels as an expert on Great Lakes storms. He has produced over 30 programs for PBS and tours the Midwest as one of the most popular shipwreck lecturers. Ric has visited over 100 shipwrecks, from German U-Boats to 150 year old schooners. He’s traveled thousands of miles to record wrecks in the ocean and on the lakes and he’s one of the few to actually visit the Edmund Fitzgerald.

Storm merges the unique on-stage personas of Hall and Mixter, utilizing a giant video screen to share archived imagery during the songs and stories.

With an estimated 5,000 shipwrecks on the lakes, Storm will always be a new experience. Ric says "Storm will be customized to the St. Clair River area, showcasing local history in addition to the big stories."

No two shows are exactly alike, because of Knope's uncanny ability to ad-lib and involve his audience along-the-way! He loves sharing stories about playing golf, dating "grandmothers," and the challenges of physical therapy! Mark has released two CDs (which have gotten airplay on Sirius/XM) and he's also guested several times on "The Bob & Tom Show." Over the years, he's been seen on ABC, FOX and Comedy Central.

The Drowsy Chaperone

The Drowsy Chaperone

The Drowsy Chaperone pays tribute to the Jazz-age shows of the 1920's and the power those shows held to transport us into a dazzling fantasy and to lift our spirits in times of sadness. The audience is greeted by the narrator, Man in Chair, sitting on a darkened stage. He is a fan of vintage musicals who seems to be suffering from free-floating depression, and he quickly decides to cheer things up by playing a record of the original cast recording of a (fictional) Broadway musical entitled "The Drowsy Chaperone". No sooner has the needle touched the record than we, together with the narrator, are transported to a 1928 Broadway theater and into "The Drowsy Chaperone", a play-within-a-play crammed full of every cliche, gag and gimmick from the golden age of musicals.

  • Music and Lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison
  • Book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar

If you liked Mad Men, you’re in luck!

Set in swinging and stylish 1960s Manhattan, Promises, Promises offers up a platter of sharp one-liners from comic genius Neil Simon and infectious pop tunes from Burt Bacharach and Hal David. Nominated for four Tony Awards and based on the 1960 Oscar-winning Billy Wilder film The Apartment, this raucous comedy features such hits as “I’ll Never Fall in Love Again,” “Say a Little Prayer”, and the title song, “Promises, Promises.”

Meet Chuck Baxter (played by Aaron Dennis Smith) – an overlooked nobody at Consolidated Life Insurance. This all changes when his colleagues find out that he has what they want: a spacious, fashionable apartment ideal for mischief. With the promise of promotion dangling before him, Chuck lends some of his senior executives his place for their extramarital trysts. In exchange, Chuck gets the key to his aspirations—and a lowly rung up on the corporate ladder. For a while, life is bliss.
