Titanic the Musical

  • Riverbank Theatre 358 S. Water Street Marine City, MI 48039 (map)

A Celebration of the Human Spirit.

The haunting story of the great ship Titanic is transformed into a riveting musical by composer and lyricist Maury Yeston (Nine, Grand Hotel). With a book by Peter Stone, the tale weaves together the hopes and dreams of rich and poor, heroes and cowards, lovers and foes in a celebration of the human spirit.

The original Broadway production won five Tony Awards in 1997, including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, Best Original Score, Best Orchestrations and Best Scenic Design. With its attention to detail and scope, Titanic is pleasing to both history buffs and musical lovers alike.

This newly available Ensemble Version embraces the original Broadway production while using a smaller cast to explore the immensity of the disaster and the impact on the survivors and victims.
